Area bowling enthusiasts are eagerly signing up to Bowl For Kids’ Sake in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters on Saturday, March 20, beginning at 9 a.m. at Rolling Thunder Lanes in Ignacio. This annual fund-raising event is a community favorite, offering friends, family members, businesses, churches, athletic groups and others the opportunity to put on their bowling shoes in support of the local Big Brothers Big Sisters agency.
To the casual observer, a mid-week excursion to Santa Fe by the women of St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church may indeed appear to be about exploring the abundance of stores and restaurants.
