Youth Hunter Education Classes. Youth (17 and under) hunter education classes will be held at the Pagosa Springs Community Center, South Conference Room, 451 Hot Springs Blvd. (next to Town Hall), at 6-9 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and 8 a.m. until noon Saturdays. Students must attend each session. Class size will not be limited, and no pre-registration is required unless you need accommodations due to a disability.
March 4
Free Zumba dance/aerobic classes.  11 a.m. at the Pagosa Lakes Vista Club House. This is an ongoing class. For more information, call 731-6132 or 731-5529. Come dance and move with Debbie Copple.
American Legion.  The Mullins Nickerson American Legion Post 108 is hosting BINGO at the Legion Hall. Doors open at 6 p.m. BINGO starts at 7 p.m. and lasts until 9. The Legion Hall is located at 287 Hermosa St.  There is plenty of parking available.
San Juan Outdoor Club. Tonight’s potluck at the Ross Aragon Community Center (begins at 6:30 p.m. All members are asked to bring a meat, side dish, appetizer or dessert that will serve four to five people. PLPOA Open Forum and Education meeting. 5 p.m. at the PLPOA Clubhouse. Purpose of the meeting is to open lines of communication, share information and work to enhance and protect property values. Please R.S.V.P. to 731-5635.

Intermediate Waltz Workshop. National ballroom champions Bob and Cindy Long will teach a three-hour Intermediate Waltz Workshop, A potluck dinner and dance follows. Cost is $20 per person for the workshop and additional Sunday afternoon practice sessions in March. This event is hosted by In Step Dance Associates and Let’s Dance! Club. A partner is not necessary to attend. Registration starts at 2:45 p.m. and class begins promptly at 3. A Little Black Dress Affair. Happy Trails Ladies Boutique will present a high-energy fashion show from 5-8 p.m. at the Ross Aragon Community Center. Tickets are $40 and are available at Seeds of Learning and Happy Trails Ladies Boutique. For more information contact Lynne Bridges at 264-5513.
Pagosa Tracking Club. The club will meet from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Hershey’s Four Mile Ranch to explore wildlife track and sign. All ages are welcome. Please bring snowshoes as there is lots of snow! Donations welcome. Contact Jason Stuck at 731-9982 for more information.

Archuleta Country Republican Women. Regular monthly meeting at noon at Boss Hogg’s Restaurant.  Guest speaker will be Bob Moomaw, county commissioner for Archuleta County.  The topic will be roads in Archuleta County as well as his candidacy for re-election for commissioner in November.  Guests are welcome to attend, no reservation required as lunch is ordered from the men.  Plan to attend to listen to Bob Moomaw and to learn what events the Republican women have planned for Archuleta County this crucial election year. Photoshop Elements class.  Digital photo editing and manipulation skills for beginners at the library.  Two class meetings: Tuesday, March 9, and Tuesday, March 16, from 5:30-7 p.m.  Participants must have some familiarity with computers and digital image files.   Participants will use library computers and software unless personal laptop use is preferred.  Call the Ruby Sisson Library to register at 264-2209.

Woman’s Club. Shamrock Shuffle. 5 k and 1 mile fun runs to benefit GECKO and Country Kids With Cancer. This event will be held at the Pagosa Brewing Company, at 118 N. Pagosa Blvd. Registration will begin at 10 a.m. Entry is $15 for the 5 k and free for the 1 mile fun run. There will be grand prizes for overall male and female adult and youth categories, a prize for best costume, and great raffle prizes. Cowboy Fast Draw.
